Apple watch

Upon a recent iOS change I can no longer ping to find my phone? News comes up instead. Would like my ability to locate my phone back.

If you are referring to watchOS 10, you now access control Center (to ping your iPhone) buy pressing the side button. See the 'Press the side button' sectiion in:
