When I open an email, and then click on something in the email, it comes up as a sort of split screen but more of a 25% screen. How can what I click on become full screen? Thank you.

You need to explore multitasking - as you have a slide-over Mail view enabled.
Key to accessing and controlling multi-tasking is the small “three-dot” multitasking button that is found at the top-centre edge of each App Window. Tap the multitasking button at the top of the slide-over window to expose a menu - from which you can change the window view.

If you see three horizontal dots at the top center of the screen, tap them and choose “Use Full Screen”.
