I downloaded a season of a show last month to watch on long flights - went to do this again and no longer can find any download to the library option whatsoever. All the help on Apple Support describes options I am no longer offered. GRRRR

If you're accessing Apple TV+ on the web at tv.apple.com, then it doesn’t allow for downloads there.
Downloads for Apple TV+ content on Mac are available in the TV app on macOS Catalina 10.15 or later, not earlier versions.
Downloads for Apple TV+ content on iPhone or iPad are available in the TV app on iOS/iPadOS 10.2 or later.
In the TV app on Mac, hover over the bottom left corner of the tile for the wanted episode. The More button (⋯) would highlight. Click it for the contextual menu. Select Download there. [This is for Sonoma 14.1. It may be slightly different for prior versions macOS.]
I get a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT contextural menu with no download option - as of just last month i'd get the cloud icon and easily download.
Why is the download icon no longer on any AppleTv shows? Cannot watch in flight anymore?
