Email "Send Later" doesnt work ever

Dear Team,

I am using apple mail and schedule emails to be sent later.

However I have noticed that the mails mostly dont go out, every time I have scheduled and email - it is shown in the send later folder. However, sometimes accidentally and now monitoring this. I found out that all scheduled emails for later are never sent.

The mac is connected to power and has full functional settings on power (even though I have kept the same settings on battery).
