can i run an additional screen off the usb c of my new apple ipad pro to allow 2 screens to be seen with different pages displayed

I need to be able to run a video conference whilst reviewing papers for the meeting . I currently have to switch between the different apps on the one screen which is disruptive (camera switches off etc). I want to buy a portable secondary slave screen that I can use to review the documents in parallel with the video conference

Yes. Your iPad Pro will support Stage Manager - this providing an extended desktop for your iPad.

You can connect your iPad to one external monitor using an appropriate HDMI Adapter - or directly to a compatible monitor via a USB-C connection (using DP or HDMI Alt Mode).
