Apple TV and Facetime

Any clues as to why FaceTime app is not on my Apple TV? Not even in the App Store.

With tvOS 17 or later, it should be a preinstalled app from Apple, not an App Store app. You’ll need an iPhone or iPad with FaceTime app for camera and microphone. FaceTime is available in most countries (and an Apple ID set to one of those valid countries), but there are a few exceptions. That goes for all compatible devices.

The model is Model number: A2843. It’s Apple TV 4K 2nd generation.

A2843 is Apple TV 4K (3rd generation), even 17 months newer than A2169 Apple TV 4K (2nd generation).

Firmware is up to date.
