400 Photos, 23gb…
I have done my research and found out that about 500-1000 photos is about 1 gb of storage. I have 498 photos and it takes up 23 gb in my phone.. Any Answer??

It will depend on the resolution and the format and the detail of the photos. And if the photos have been edited with a third-party app that is saving the edited versions in a different format?
Have all photos been taken with your Phone 11, iOS 16? What are the Settings > Camera > Format on your iPhone?
What is the size of an individual photo on your iPhone? You can look it up in Photos, if you open the info.
