I updated to Sonoma 14.1 last week Friday, and since then I keep getting logged out from all websites (e.g. Google, GitHub, Hotmail, etc.) on Chrome each time I shut down my laptop. I have to log in to all websites each time I start my laptop. Are there ways to fix this issue?
Make sure "Close windows when quitting an application" is unchecked in System Settings > Desktop & Dock under the "Windows" heading.
Just to add, Sonoma 14.1.1 has been released. Update when you can.
FWIW, that is the norm and is how it should be. Otherwise, it would be a security issue.
I see, this didn't used to happen before, so I thought it's a new bug.
Well, it does depend on which websites. For example, if I'm logged into gmail.com, I don't have to re-log in. However, if I'm logged into this forum, I do.
I get logged out from ALL websites now. Before updating to Sonoma, I used to get logged out only from a few specific websites.
