Samsung C410 colour laser printer - success Sonoma

Just want to report success that may help others. The driver for the Samsung C43x seems to install automatically and work just fine on SONOMA 14.1 on Intel.

Intel Mac Mini 2018 i7

Printer is connected using Ethernet. Here is what I did:

• Set up Ethernet generic printer first to in order to enter the Ethernet port. Not able to use this generic printer option. Verify that a web browser can see printer web pages.
• In Printers & Scanners the printer showed up detected by Bonjour. Select it.
• Go to "Choose a Driver" and "Select Software..." Choose Samsung C43x Series. It appears to work just fine with the C410W.

• If you don't have the driver available try the answer in Samsung Xpress SL-C410W Color Laser Print… - Apple Community from Jan Hedlund who suggests: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/Print_Common_SW/Samsung_Mac_Driver_V3.93.01.dmg Thanks to Jan. It works for me on Sonoma.

This is how things should work - I am almost in shock as to how easy it was to install the driver and get the printer working. But of course that is not a guarantee that it will work for you.
