The columns on Mail keep shifting when I open the app

If I open mail, or if I switch from one e-mail account to another, the columns for my iCloud mailbox keep shifting

The current stable release of Sonoma including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 14.1 —I would start there

This is happening to me too and it's incredibly annoying and time consuming.....ugh. And, yes, I'm running the latest version Sonoma 14.1.1
