Macbook Air M2 (2022) display text blurry during scrolling

MacBook Air (M2, 2022) display text blurry during scrolling. Almost 20 years ago this exact question was asked and the answer was the LCD response was not fast enough to support smooth scrolling.

Surely LED screens are fast enough to support smooth scrolling now even with the very high resolution. Yes? No? Otherwise, I have to stop scrolling to read anything because the text is blurry while scrolling. Maybe there's a setting that works like DEC's smooth scroll feature 40 years ago. Scrolling was slow but you could read the text during scrolling.
