Hi. For some reason, when I type using either the computer or keyboard, the language that is typing has changed from US English to another. I did reset by going to >apple icon > System preferences > Language , etc. I've updated the system to Sonoma 14.1 and restarted, no luck.
Any ideas?

To fix this, go to System Settings > Keyboard > Text Input > Edit > Input Sources and use the + and - buttons to make sure there is only ONE item on the list, and that the name of that item is US or ABC.
