what is the USB-C cable

The 3rd gen Apple TV Remote charges with its USB-C Port. A USB-C Cable probably came with your Apple TV. The small chargers for iPhones now connect via USB-C. IF you have an earlier phone charger with USB-A you just need a USB-a to USB-C Cable.
