Why do I get "access denied" messages while navigating on my iPad Air 3?

I sometimes get access denied when trying to open a website as common as Michaels.com so I can find and buy a product. The website page won’t even open. I just tried with my iPhone too, same issue!

Some other reasons a site may block access and give you an Access Denied error:

  • Attempting to access from a VPN
  • Attempting to access using "http:" instead of "https:"
  • Site down
  • Using a Content Blocker
