Photos integration does not work in FCP

I'm experiencing an issue with my Photo Library on a separate NVME drive. While Photos app references my media correctly, I can't drag and drop directly into Final Cut Pro anymore. Using the Photos browser in FCP doesn't work properly; it links to the wrong media, showing different videos on the timeline than the ones selected. This started with OS 13, and despite reporting it to Apple six months ago, there's been no response or fix through multiple updates. Has anyone found a workaround that doesn't involve exporting from Photos and importing into FCP? https://youtu.be/AkUZhysT_Vc

When you have more than one Photos Library connected to your Mac you will probably need to select the correct Library that FCPro sees as the System Library.

OPTION click the Photos icon as you launch it, then select the desired Library:
