It's not a power adapter, I just need the power cord that plugs into the power adapter box. I already looked for it in the apple store under accessories and couldn't find it.

You actually call AppleCare and let them know what you need and they will direct you to the correct place. In the USA that number is (800) 273-2275
This cable may work, but I don't have the details on this iMac's power supply. The following cable has the matching connector and is using 18AWG gauge wire rated at 10W. This is the best cable I can find online which uses the same connector. I cannot find any heavier duty cable.
