Find My - AirPods

Hi, I recently lost a small zippered clutch on a flight from Boston to Seattle. The clutch contained my AirPods, a fews pens and pencils, and two pieces of extremely sentimental jewelry that won't be of much value to anyone else. I've torn my house apart looking for the clutch and realized it was lost somewhere in transit. My AirPods are not showing their last location in "Find My." Is there any way at all to generate this? I used them on my trip so I don't understand why I'm not even getting a last location. I am desperate for any lead at all.

In find my app you would see last location of iphone nerbay them while somwone would try to open the case, airpods dont passively send location like airpods pro 2nd gen. If you left your bag on plane now its probably laying in lost property department of the plane company, personally i would try to contact them. If someone would use your airpods you would see that in find my app.
