Update Using a Computer:

Have a Computer Handy? If so, try using a computer to update. Go here: Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are availabe, they will install, sure enough.

IMPORTANT:

Back Up your iPone First:

Be certain you create a backup of your iPad, prior to the log out, that way you'll have something to restore your iPad from should you need them back. Use a computer as the back up source.
