I continually find myself returning to a project on the timeline to find that my previous 'stabilizations' have been turned off (by FCPX). This will happen the same day, a few hours after I've worked on a project, then come back to it.
This is chronic.
I'm wondering why it might be happening, and what I could do to have it stop happening?

I always suspect corrupt FCP prefs when weird things continue to happen.
Always in the timeline. Never in the Browser.
And though they are usually a portion of the actual shot media ... most of them are normal (relatively short) shots, not some multi-minute or hour-long clip.
Are you selecting clips in a Timeline or in the Browser?
Aha! And I forget to trash my prefs.
Will trash my prefs and report back if it makes a difference.
