I am using a MacBook Air M1, 2020 with Monterey. I'm supposed to receive calls on my browser for a client and for that I need to pass the technical test but I fail everytime when it comes to NAT traversal. I used an ethernet cable and everything but nothing worked. finally I did this on a PC and it worked. So I know the problem is me using a Mac. ıs there a way to fix it and pass that test?

This is a networking issue. You will have to work with your network administrator and the company providing the voice service.
If you are using Safari, you may want to make sure that iCloud private relay is NOT turned on. Beyond that, there’s not much on your Mac that could be causing the problem.
This is a networking issue, not strictly a Mac issue.

You may need to work with the company providing the calling service to get it resolved as well as your network administrator.

Just to confirm, did you use the exact same Ethernet cable and jack when testing the PC and the Mac? Or did you use different cables and/or different jacks?
As others mentioned, NAT Traversal is a network issue and not a Mac specific thing. However, I suspect that you're trying to use a particular app, and that app is giving an incorrect error description. Which app are you trying to use?

Thank you for your answer but I don't think it is a network issue. Because I tested Mac and PC on the same network and only PC passed. I appreciate the link but I am afraid I don't know how it can help me as I am not a very technical person. I've already alerted the company but I suspect they will do anything, they take ages to answer. I am trying to solve it before they -hopefully- respond.

Sorry for my late reply and your kind answer. Yes, I used the same ethernet cable but used an ethernet to Mac adapter. This app is the company's own app and I dont think it has a name or available to the public. It is sluggish to be honest and I think the issue mostly has to do with the company's system. I informed them but they couldn't do anything. At the moment I borrowed a friend's PC.

I am using Chrome, it is the only browser it accepts.
Then you’ll have to deal with the vendor to troubleshoot it.
