No problem with retrieving email on android mobile and desktop PC, but extremely slow on iPad.
I have checked settings and all appear correct as in set to push and automatic.
Some days it’s ok others like today it is slow to almost non existent at downloading.
iPad is an iPad Air 4th Generation and fully up to date.
Try a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software or performance issue:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
Are you running iPadOS 17.x - or an earlier version of iPadOS?
Thanks but it made no difference.
Still shows as ‘checking for email’ with two emails in account waiting to be viewed but can’t.
The only way I knew I had a reply to my original post was via my android mobile.
Just about to download and instal version 16.7.2
Now about to upgrade that to v17.11
