Sharing iCloud among devices

Hello! I have a problem where my phones iCloud always says it’s full. I have an app called GoodNotes that I use on my iPad but don’t use on my phone yet I separate them between devices under the same Apple ID and always have a full iCloud. Is there a way for my iPad to still have a backed up GoodNotes but my phone doesn’t hold that storage?

iPad Air, iPadOS 15

If you do exactly as I described the data will only disappear from the iphone, and you need to say do not keep a copy in the iphone. Data will stay in iCloud and ipad.

If you want to keep a dead copy on the ipad then do the above with ipad settings instead but then say keep a copy on the ipad. Then delete from icloud using the iphone.

You are playing a dangerous game, it may be better to upgrade to a larger iCloud storage plan.
