strange desktop things like sticky curser

Has anyone else experiences some strange things on the desk top since the last upgrade? My curser is sometimes "sticky" and picks up Icons and new files or folders often go to strange places, not desk top directly. Looks like we need some adjustments. Another upgrade?

I am using 14.1 on my MacBook Pro. New files after saving end up on the top right of screen on top of another file! The sticky urser picks up icons and things and moves them as I move the curse and I have to click or double click to release them. I just noticed also my Firefox Icon keeps being taken off my list of others in the dock and I have to keep replacing it. This all started after the recent upgrade, so I suspect that did it and am hoping for another "upgrade" to fix it or an answer from Apple. Why they call it an upgrade often tickles me...... I get upset when ever any of the companies offer upgrades and try to do without often, but that is a bad answer.
