html tables issue in Safari

Hello Apple Community members,

I am facing issues on my site regarding HTML tables.

My site is using WordPress and the tables are simple HTML tables with 3 columns.

I have added custom CSS to show tables within the screen view in the safari browser as most of my audience is from IOS devices.

The issue is table becomes wide enough that it goes out of the screen which shows a scrollable bar to scroll it once to show the rest of the table on the page.

Please can anyone guide me on how I can fit the table in the screen width??? Much appreciated if any one can answer or any one faced the same issue like me.

You are absolutely the technical contact here, until and unless you delegate that role.

Verify the website complies with HTML and JavaScript rendering per W3C standards.

For instance, use the W3C (or some other) markup validator, and resolve any issues that it reports:

https://validator.w3.org/

If your website uses lots of JavaScript code, you also now have piles of code to view and verify and potentially to debug, too.

If you’re using a third-party web frameworks (including WordPress), check for updates to the content management system and any frameworks and dependencies, and then check with the CMS and framework maintainers.

Ok thank you brother, let ne validate through the validar you provided and get back to you.

suppose if my site is using a lot of jqueries for different data access tasks and the code also alighns is there any special key structure pr format for IOS devices because you know 97% users are from mobile devices and in my case IOS devices

That’s the proverbial deep end of the web development pool.

jQuery itself isn’t particularly relevant to WebKit rendering issues.

You’re going to want and have to learn more about WordPress, JavaScript, jQuery, and whatever other frameworks you are using. Or you will want to hand off this project and this troubleshooting to someone more familiar.

ChatGPT and other similarly over-hyped generative tools too often generate utter garbage code. Garbage text replies too, as have seemingly been getting posted around here by some folks using GPT tools for their replies. The GPT-generated source code that’s been posted around here has been utterly hilarious. It’s nicely formatted and pretty to look at. Also utterly non-functional.
