iPad OS Feature Request - please add toggle to disable autocorrection for scribble as needed

I think scribble could be great for my needs. The potential to ween me off my habit of using good ol' pen and paper as a "buffer" and being able to capture and digitize that text is exciting. However, I'm an IT systems admin and developer by trade, so much of what I "scribble" down on my ipad, scribble identifies as wrong and autocorrects it. My writing is legible enough that scribble captures it far better than I expect, only to then convert what I mean to what seems to be correct with regards to grammar and spelling. In my opinin, scribble's not very good at technical writing. I can't use it as I see fit, because I cannot turn off autocorrection. And I've seen MANY like posts elsewhere since late 2020 I think?

Apple, please add a toggle for this. There's a lot more people, like me, who can make good use of scribble if only we could disable the virtual nanny. No fancy libraries needed for autocorrect, just let us turn it off when we don't need it. Please and thanks!

The Apple Support Community is a user-to-user technical forum. Other than the site Moderators, Apple neither monitors nor participates within the Support Community; contributors here are all end-users, just like you. As such, any comments directed to Apple will not be seen by your intended audience.

However, Apple do invite submission of comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

If you would like to see additional features or functionality in a future version of iPadOS, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to direct your request.
