I took my iPhone SE to get a battery change yesterday and today when I recorded a video all you could hear was static and you could barely hear my voice. Did they do something at the Apple store to damage my microphone? Is that possible by changing a battery?
I would try making a phone call and see how the mic works there, as well. It's always possible a cord is loose, not in the right place, etc. You should take it back to the store where it was repaired and have it checked out.

Well, you are asking us to guess on that one, but it is possible that an internal connection was affected during the process of taking the phone apart and putting it back together.
Before you take the phone back to the Apple Store......try a Forced Restart, which is what the tech will do when you bring the phone back in to the store.
