Connectivity Issue with Apple CarPlay on iPhone 15 Pro Max
I am reaching out to report a recurring issue I’ve been experiencing with Apple CarPlay on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Despite several troubleshooting attempts, the issue remains unresolved.
Issue Description:
• My iPhone consistently disconnects from Apple CarPlay when connected to my 2019 Ford Focus, using a USB cable.
• The CarPlay interface frequently freezes and becomes unresponsive.
• This issue does not occur with an Android device, suggesting it’s specific to the iPhone or its interaction with the car system.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
1. Both the iPhone and Ford SYNC system are updated to the latest software versions.
2. I have reset the network settings on the iPhone.
3. CarPlay profile has been reinstalled.
4. I’ve tried multiple high-quality, MFi-certified cables.
5. Other iOS devices exhibit the same issue when connected to the car.
I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide to resolve this issue. It seems to be a specific compatibility problem between my iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Ford SYNC system in CarPlay mode.
