Slide Number Format Discrepancy: '01' in Master Page, Single Digit on Actual Slides

Hello,

I've scoured various sources in search of a solution but haven't had any success yet. Here's my issue:

In the slide layout, when you insert slide numbers, a text box is automatically added with the digits '01'.

However, on the actual slides themselves, only a single digit is displayed for the first 9 slides.

Is there a way to make the slide numbers on the actual slides display the first 9 numbers with a leading zero (01, 02, 03, and so on)?

This discrepancy can be quite bothersome, particularly when designing elements like a border around the slide number.

I appreciate your assistance in advance.

Best regards,

Steve

Leading zeros cant be applied to slide numbers.

As to borders, don't apply a border to the slide number, use a shape with a border instead and ensure both the shape and the number are centred to gather.
