MacBook pro M2 touch bar not lighting up.

My MacBook suddenly started hanging. After a forced restart, it gets stuck again after entering my password and goes into a cycle of restarting on its own. To break this cycle, I let my MacBook drain its battery. Before it completely drained, it prompted me to reinstall the OS, so I followed through. Thankfully, it worked fine afterward, but now my touch bar won't light up. It still functions when clicked, but the lack of illumination is bothering me. I've tried various solutions, including using the terminal, safe mode, reinstalling the OS, and even factory resetting my Mac, but none have worked. Should I wait for an update, or is there something else I can try? Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1

The best you can do if you have an issue

— close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal.

—If no resolve try SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort anomalies.

if no resolve touchbar issues typically indicates hardware issue.

you can try How to use Apple Hardware Test on your Mac - Apple Support

please note: not definitive by any means, but may kick out an error code: DFR001
