iPad crashes when connecting to a Bluetooth device

I recently updated my 8th Gen iPad to OS 17.1. Ever since the update, the Music app works fine, but becomes unresponsive when attempting to connect the iPad to a Bluetooth device. After several minutes of being unresponsive, the iPad itself will crash and reboot itself, after which the Music app works fine and plays properly on the Bluetooth device. I have 3 iPads that I updated at the same time, and every one of them has the exact same problem. I have tried multiple Bluetooth devices with each of the three iPads, and the problem is consistent across all Bluetooth devices. I performed a manual reboot of the iPad, I tried forgetting each of the Bluetooth devices and then reconnecting to them, and I also tried deleting the Music app from my iPad and reinstalling it, but the problem remains. I am out of ideas as to how to go about troubleshooting this issue. Any assistance that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.
