Yes the iPhone will work no problem, but if you live permanently in another country the problem will be the iPhone warranty that won’t work, and you will also need to make sure you can purchase an Apple Care+

Assuming the other carrier supports eSIM then yes. If they don’t support eSIM then you won’t be able to use it there and would need to find a carrier that does support eSIM or wait until you get there and buy one

It will only be unlocked if you buy it directly from Apple.
