I have just recently had 2 877 numbers that I am not able to call on my phone (14pro) udated ios checked settings and even went to ATT and they have no idea, same issue on my brother iphone 12, Mothers Iphone 14 I can, and all of us are on the same phone plan, I can call other 800 numbers without issues. But this is a problem as they are Hulu and Allstate customer service as I have cases with both of them 0 Helpppp!!

Wifi off, but holy crap turning OFF the dial assist did it - Thank You big time!!! I have no home phone and this has been a pain! Was doing the fast dial and then "call cannot be completed as dialed"

That is purely a carrier issue, unless you perhaps have a VPN connection AND you have Wi-Fi calling.
There isn’t much you can do without your carrier’s assistance. Here are a couple of things that MIGHT affect this issue:
