My coverage expired

i lost both of my AirPods in two different places, I find one of them and I go to connect it like I usually did and it said coverage expired. I know what it means but I want to know do I have to pay for anything?

my coverage expired withing first 8 months of buying the airpods I brought my AirPods Pro 2 on last may 15 2023, only 8months passed. But in the AirPods settings it shows my coverage is expired. There is still 4 months left for warranty expiration. No I can’t even buy the Apple care+ too .

There is no warranty for lost or stolen AirPods.

If you want a replacement AirPod, you have to pay for it.
