Settings icon missing

I accidentally erased the settings icon from the Home Screen on my iPhone. I’ve tried the search feature and “settings” doesn’t show up. This doesn’t make sense to me.

Can someone help?

I understand that it can’t be erased from the system since it’s part of the OS

iPhone 7, iOS 15

Use App Library to search the Settings app, see -> Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone

  • If you have find the Settings app, tap & hold on the app, then drag to the Home screen & drop it.
