Battery Maximum Capacity

Hi, I have had this MacBook Air M1 for a little over a month, and after only 14 cycles maximum capacity dropped by 2%. I was also trying to keep it between 20-80%. I don't know if this is a problem with this MacBook or with all MacBooks. Or is this normal? I have had my iPhone Pro Max 14 for 4 months and my battery capacity is 99%, which I use and charge every day so this seems way too fast.

That Mac's battery condition is normal. There is nothing wrong with it.

You don't need to concern yourself with that kind of minutia, and it won't help anyway.

Battery capacity will fluctuate over short periods of time. They start at 100% capacity and will not increase from there, nor will they ever return to 100%. That Mac battery's maximum charge capacity of 98% may increase, and it may decrease, although the long term trend measured over a period of years is down.
