Shortcuts to Apple Music no longer working post Sonoma update

Hi all,

Since installing Sonoma, I've realized that my Shortcuts to the Music app are no longer working (they are functioning normally on iOS/iPadOS 17).

The shortcuts were downloaded from the Gallery provided by Apple itself (so they are not third-party shortcuts).

The first one is the shortcut "Play One and Shuffle". This one was very handy for me, as the Music app provides no easy way to shuffle all my library. The second one is "Play Entire Current Album". Running them on Sonoma does absolutely nothing, but I'm pretty sure they were working before (under Ventura) since I used to rely on them a lot.

Any shortcuts-savvy out there that could point me what the problem is?

Yes - Apple, either fix this or get rid of Music shortcuts. It is embarrassing that your own shortcuts don't work and haven't for quite some time.

Few replies to this thread, but this is clearly an ongoing issue in Sonoma. Tons of similar problems come up after a simple web search.

I'm in the same situation: Shortcuts and the Music app no longer communicate with each other. Even a simple action to fetch the Current Song returns nothing, so obviously, more complex shortcuts can't work at all. This is downright infuriating.

I've managed to use AppleScript in a Shortcut to shuffle a playlist: that works normally. We're at 17.2.1 right now? Fingers crossed for a resolution soon.
