why is there a 5pm wave cutout on the side of the iPad when the device is not cellular? Is it just that they only want to keep one device mold and just to save costs keep it all the same or is there 5g antennas and they disable it completely. (My thinking is on the efficiency and 1 mold)
That’s what the apple logo on the back is for 🤦♂️it looks like they just didn’t want to make seperate casings for the cellular and non cellular models
We are all other users here and do not work for Apple so we have no idea why Apple designed it this way You'd need to ask Apple.
While your WiFi Only iPad will not have Cellular antennae or hardware, the casing must still accommodate WiFi and Bluetooth antennas.
