Is watchos 10.1.1 safe to update to yet?

If i update to watchos 10.1.1 is it going to destroy my battery? Or is it ok now?

10.1.1 is supposed to fix your battery issues, assuming you you already have watchOS 10 installed.

If you are still on watchOS 9, then there is no rush, and waiting a little longer will give you time to observe others with watchOS 10.1.1 installed.
