Brand new iPhone 15 pro freezing frequently

I just bought the new iPhone 15 pro a couple weeks ago with what I'm assuming is iOS 17.1.1. Within a week, it started freezing on me. It was so confusing initially because I've never had any issues with iPhones before and I've been using them for about 6 or 7 years now. I thought maybe I got a bad phone (which would be so upsetting considering how much money I spent and how annoying it would be to replace it). But I did some light research and it seems this is a common issue and possibly related to the iOS. One place I saw (can't find it now) said that Apple was aware of this problem and they were working on an update to correct it. Does anyone know if that is accurate? I mean, I can't be just suddenly without a phone and having to force re-boot it. I mean it would be bad for anyone, but I feel like as a woman it is very unsafe to not be able to rely on your phone. Please help.

my iphone 15 pro is doing that too, but only 1x - purchased it in Oct, was ok until today, then after i installed an App (Eufy camera app), a little while later, it suddenly froze, wouldnt respond. tried to hold down power button on right side & volume up button to restart, woudlnt work then found a post online saying to press the volume up then volume down then hold down power button and it restarts. i hope they fix it soon.
