It seems like ever since the iOS 17 update, maybe earlier, all of my 3rd party apps have the same alert notification sound and it’s very quiet, and there is no way to change a single one of them so I doubt it’s a developer issue.
Anyone know a way around this?
You’d think that for a $1,000+ phone it wouldn’t be so basic.
It has me considering a phone change just because I can’t tell a difference between any of my notifications.
iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17
All third-party apps already had the same notification sound (unless the app devs custom made one), which was called Tri-Tone. In iOS 17, they were switched to Rebound, one of the many new alert sounds added.
Unfortunately, you can’t change this tone, so I’d recommend turning up your ringer volume.
Did you updated your device to the latest iOS version, now 17.1.1?
I don’t believe that’s accurate because I remember different sounds. My dog would bark like crazy for the doorbell sound but not any of the other anlerts. Even if that’s true, the new sound is basically a click and does it once. No matter how loud my phone is I don’t notice it.
If it is accurate, then it’s trash in a phone this expensive. Even my mothers cricket phone can change alert sounds.
