Yes it will. The easiest and most reliable method is connecting the old Macs Time Machine External Hard Disk to the new Mac and launch Migration Assistant. Migrate from the External Hard Disk .
Dead easy and it works 100% of the time!!!!!! Use another method and well it may or may not work.
