Phone power adapter USB connection

I need a charger that plugs into my truck's cigarette lighter (I guess they call them power outlets now?). I have an old one (phone AND pickup AND charger!) that has two USB ports (NOT the USB C size). I need a second one but it seems like the dual port plugs all say USBC. Does that mean that the part that plugs into the power cord needs to be USB C?

I also am looking at retractable power cords -- USB to Lightning. I like several that have three heads -- Lightning, USBC and (I think) some kind of macro. Again, would the product description "USB C" mean just the head, or both the head and other end that plugs into the power outlet?

You would need to look closely at the info where ever you are looking provides to be sure. Generally, if a cable/cord says USB-C it will be both ends of it. If the part that goes into the cigarette lighter opening as a charger/adapter only has ports for a traditional USB-A cable then you would need to find a USB-A to lighting cable not a USB-C one at all unless you have an iPhone 15 series phone that uses USB C now.

Maybe share a screenshot of what you are looking at. It might help explain accurately what they are offering and requiring
