Since probably Thursday, my iPhone 11 has not been using Optimized Battery Charging at night. It used to charge up to 80% every night, stop there, and charge in the early morning. Now, around times at between 8:30 or 9 PM, it fully charges. I have done a reboot, an iOS update, toggled the Optimized Charging option off and on, and considering a complete reset of my phone. Please help with this!

My iPhone 14 does the same thing. It used to work fairly regularly the way it is supposed to (with occasional times of fully charging without pausing at 80%). The last few weeks it has consistently gone directly to 100%.
That is in spite of the fact that the time I go to bed and the time I get up is boringly consistent.
My experience has been that it doesn't work reliably. I had similar issues with a MacBook Pro where it would work for awhile, then not work and then start working again in spite of my usage being very consistent.
I'd prefer to see it work as advertised but it doesn't bother me much that it isn't as I'm not convinced that it makes a large difference in battery life and I never had battery life issues before the optimized charging option was added.
That really sucks. I haven’t changed my charging route at all, I don’t know why it’s starting to do this now.
