Started today. Downloaded, read instructions, sent $10 successfully to recieptant. Now trying to send $9k more. have successfully transferred from the bank to "apple cash". Again, won't let me send it to the recipient. "services unavailable. Services are currently unavailable. Please try again later."

You may have restrictions on sending/receiving or accessing cash until your account is more "seasoned." But, the error you're getting doesn't reflect that issue. I'd try again later or contact Apple Support

That's pretty much what I figured .... basically. Apple and my bank's systems probably get very nervous when a brand-new account tries to transfer the maximum per day on the first day.
Will send wire tomorrow from bank to bank.
Gave me a good lesson to learn the app though. Thank you.
I new to apple cash. Won't let me send "large" 4 figure amount.
