I got a notification today that my News+ subscription is increasing to $12.99 on December 12 when my subscription renews. I don’t think it’s worth that much so I unsubscribed earlier today. As of now I have lost access. I am not sure when my subscription actually renews, but it seems possible that I have lost access before my current period ends. Anyone in the same situation? Seems like a possible class action lawsuit if that is the case.

... any free trials stop immediately on cancellation.

Hope you were able to check the expiry date using the purchase history, or make enquiries about your News access with the Billing and Subscriptions Support staff.

See if you can: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support for that month, or the period between cancellation and expiry.

You obviously did not read my post very closely. I have been a paying News+ subscriber for a long time. I expect to retain access until my current subscription period ends.
