audio and video not syncing

when taking video off old DVDS or other media, or when I am recording videos, quite often the picture is not synced with the audio, sometime 1 or 2 seconds, which is annoying, as I am trying to save theses old videos to show our grandsons, they are synced on the DVD when playing, but when you take them off onto MacBook Air, then they are not?

It's becoming very frustrating, as it should be easier, with no lag

Syncing issue I'm having bad luck syncing a separate audio file to my video. Sources: Gopro footage from a Hero 11 at 48khz and 23.98fps Zoom M4 audio recorder at 32 bit, 96khz. I've actually used this combination a couple of times now with no issues at all but this time there's a huge drift. Even when I sync at the beginning and then speed one of the two up to sync at the end as well it will be out of sync in the middle. I know it's not ideal to work with different sample rates of sound but had no issues with it till now. I've tried working on both a 48khz timeline and 96khz timeline (both 23.98fps) Any suggestions how I can make them sync? (MacBook Pro M2)

Final Cut Pro issue with audio Sync! Help please. Hello everyone, I have an issue with audio sync in Final Cut Pro. Our editor works on Windows, Premier and send us the videos in mp4 format, 23.98 fsp, 48kHz stereo. But when I try to import these videos in Final Cut with the same project settings as the video, the sound is shifted back by 1.5 milliseconds, so it remains empty audio at the end of the video (see attached screenshot). This creates a problem with different scenes with sharp sounds (the audio of upcoming clip is heard at the end of the previous clip. The editor claims that he is not seeing this issue. I attach an image of the end of a video, so you can notice it's empty. Thank you!

My outlander box set not working with SuperDrive My Outlander box set DVD not working with my SuperDrive when other. However my other movies do work I use it with my MacBook Air A2681 that my husband got me for Christmas 2022. Now it copies and plays music easily. I do not understand. I am bedridden with 2 cancers and got the SuperDrive for this reason. Plus Outlander is my favorite show. I hope someone can help me. Please help
