Is there a right hand shortcut for copy/pasting on MacBook?

With so much focus on good accessibility on mac, it boggles me that there is no default shortcut for copy and paste for the right hand. On Windows Ctrl + Insert and Shift + Insert are copy and paste by default and Ctrl + Delete is cut. (Insert doesn't exist on mac keyboards so they would have to come up with a different alternative)

These shortcuts are crucial for people who use their left hand for mouse.

I was able to set up working shortcuts using Keyboard Maestro, but had a really difficult time coming to that conclusion. I even managed to set up a right hand undo (which Windows doesn't have afaik).

Does anyone know if there is a better way than to use this third party software?

Apples' Attention - this is not going to happen on these Forums unless one performs a transgression

Then the Mods will probable step in and possibly issue a Yellow Card

Sure, but the problem is that I am using my mouse with my left hand and reaching my right hand over to Command + C/V isn't super ergonomic. I could also switch my left hand between mouse and keyboard every time I need to copy/paste, but that is just super inefficient and also not very ergonomic.

So for us lefties it would be super helpful with a built in shortcut to efficiently and ergonomically copy and paste with the right hand.

True, I am very picky. To be honest, I'm mostly writing this question to try to get Apple's attention on this accessibility issue. Being left handed shouldn't make it more difficult to use your computer in my opinion. I recently switched from Windows to Mac and I'm surprised that Windows is more accessibility friendly for this particular issue.

Thanks for spending the time on answering my question. I appreciate that.

Much like my Earned Colleague @ chdsl

I too made the switch from Microsoft Windows some where in 2005 and made the Full Switch to Only macOS in 2007.

The Unlearning Curve from MS Windows to macOS took some time

Though I am both Left and Right handed on most functions - Keyboard and Mouse defaults to Right Handed for Mouse and both hands for typing.
