Removing AirTag battery when not in use
Should the AirTag battery be removed between travel opportunities?
As you may already know, the Apple AirTag's battery has approximately a one year lifespan with normal use. Its Bluetooth beacon transmits once every 3 to 5 minutes to save battery life.
My suggestion is that you leave the battery in as it may not be worth the trouble.
