macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 will not recognize my user password

I have 14.1.1 available as a download in my system settings but when I want to install it my user password isn't accepted. This macbook only has my one admin account no others. This is a 2021 M1 Max Macbook pro.

Any idea what's causing this?

Instead of using your first name and last name just use your login account name. Normally just one word. In this case maybe just erwin?

Are you referring to the screenshot below? My username is my name. Is the space between first and last name the cause?
