Lost whatsapps
I have no idea how, but I lost all my WhatsApp messages from 1 person. All my others were fine. I didn’t uninstall and reinstall as to get the missing ones, would have meant I had to go back a few weeks (I didn’t realise for a while, I’d lost them) and I needed the others that weren’t lost. I didn’t want to not have the newer ones of those.
my question - if I uninstalled WhatsApp from my MacBook and reinstalled, would I be able to go back to before I lost them on a back up, without it synching with my phone. So my phone whatsapps would be as they are now, but I’d get back the lost ones on my MacBook.
I didn’t know if the MacBook and iPhone acted independently of each other for WhatsApp.
